There are two groups of items. Match the items in group 1 with the items in group 2.

Group 1:
Rule #1: Use "the" when referring to something specific (singular count noun)

Rule #6: Use "zero article" with plural count nouns to make general statements

Group 2:
Horses are beautiful animals.
A horse is a beautiful animal.
I am going to the theater tonight.
Water is necessary to live.
I've enjoyed reading all of the books my teacher recommended.
The jewelry the Queen wore to the opera was gorgeous.
Yesterday I started a new job. The job is a little difficult, but I like it.
